If you're not from a big city, never fear! Small towns and villages are full of interesting things and curiosities too – and we're eager to hear just what.
Write, add photos, add videos – whatever you feel tells YOUR story best.
Text
When you write your story, be direct and spontaneous. Describe moods, feelings, people, monuments, places, everything. Don't worry about the order you write it in – we like playful disorder! And don't get tied up in overly sophisticated language, write as if you were telling a friend. Need inspiration? Have a look at our travel book.
Use English if you can, otherwise your mother tongue.
Separate your text into paragraphs so it's easy to read. To create a new paragraph, just press return to start a new line. See an example.
Photos
Send us your original photos "au naturel". Please don't send us digitally altered photos. We want to see the world through your eyes, not through photo editing tools!
Send photos in JPG/JPEG format. Images should have a maximum size of 8MB and a minimum resolution of 2200 pixels width (for landscape photos) and 2200 pixels height (for portrait photos).
It's really important that you explain where you would like us to position your photos within your text. So please save your photos as numbers (1,2,3,4)*, and then use these numbers as references within your text to show exactly where you want your pictures to go. See an example.
* Please use english for photo tags. Tags are keywords that you can use to describe your pictures.
E.g. For a photo of a bird, you might use the words 'bird wings' as a tag. Please remember to put a space between each word.
How to name your pictures:
Photo number + photo description + city/village/area (where the photo was taken) + country (where the photo was taken)

Videos
There's only one rule for videos – get your camera, capture your unrepeatable moments and tell us everything!
Send us your videos in one of the following formats: .avi, .flv, .mov, .mpg, .mpeg, .wmv, .mp4
