I’m a lawyer based out of New Delhi, India. I grew up travelling all over the place with my parents, who have lived in 4 different states in India as well as in 4 different countries since I was born. I studied economics at University and then decided to become a lawyer. I love both economics and law but I also love food, art, literature, history, learning about new cultures and meeting new people. I also love to write. So it only seemed natural to put all of these interests together in my very own travel blog.My favourite destinations from the past year are probably Jordan (from Umm Qais in the north to the Red Sea in the south) and Tawang District (in Arunachal Pradesh in North-East India). 5 places on my bucket list, in no particular order are:1. Machu Picchu, Peru2. Iceland3. Egypt4. Iraq5. Easter IslandIf I could add a sixth for good measure, I suppose I’d say Zambia/ Zimbabwe: who doesn’t want to raft along the Zambezi River and see Victoria Falls?A friend nick-named me “The Opportunist” back in University. I suppose this could be taken as as insult but I chose to follow the advice of the ever-wise Dowager Countess of Grantham:“I advise you to take everything as a compliment, it saves many an awkward moment.”I have seized every opportunity to see a new place ever since.

Even I couldn’t have dreamed up a moment so perfectly surreal or a place so bewitchingly beautiful. Filled with glittering rainbows, thundering waterfalls, mirror-like...
