A Dive to Heaven, Chalkidiki, Greece - Family Trips - Visiting Greece - Kiss From The World

A dive to heaven….

Summer in Greece is always warm with long and bright days. The hot weather lasts at least six months a year, and anyone who loves the beach has too many opportunities to spend several days swimming in idyllic landscapes.

During the weekends, the beaches are filled with people seeking for coolness in organized beach bars next to beautiful seas.

A few days ago, we visited a stunning beach and spent there all day. Lying on a comfortable sun lounger, I enjoyed the blue-green color of the sea and the wonderful scenery, while from time to time I dived into the crystal waters.

The beach was amazing and is called Lagonisi  at Vourvourou, Halkidiki, Northern Greece. This area is famous for its beautiful beaches and every time we visit it we discover more and more unexplored beauties.

To enjoy a whole day on the beach from early morning until late afternoon, you have to be familiar with the nature and love the sea.

Always wearing your sunscreen, you can enjoy relaxing hours on your sunbed under the shade of the umbrella, or lift your adrenaline with intense swimming!

Whatever way you like to spend your day by the sea, surely the beauty of the landscape is of great importance!

The power and the charm of nature affect the mankind from prehistoric years! When the sun and the sea represented the ancient gods and mysterious powers.

Even today the sea keeps  its charm for most of us! At Lagonisi Beach I enjoyed it, I swam, I ran, I played, I took photos and late in the afternoon I enjoyed my cool coffee gazing the turquoise waters!

Of course, there was an organized beach bar offering comfortable sun loungers and large umbrellas for shade, as well as the possibility of drinking coffee or having a snack any time of the day.

The beach is located in a small bay and the waters are warm. A small island in the center of the bay welcoming small yachts gives a special nice touch to the area.

The beach is not small, so it is also suitable for walking, especially in the afternoon when the sun has fallen. I personally enjoyed a great relaxing walk, with my camera taking many photos!

Man, always needs to be close to nature and find ways to relax. The stressful  rhythms of life leave their marks on our body and soul, and the best medicine is our contact with nature!

I felt that contact very strongly spending my entire day in Lagonisi beach, swimming, walking by the sea and enjoying the wonderful scenery!

It was a very nice day and I really look forward to return there and relax as much as I can by the sea and the beautiful scenery of this beach!
