A few weeks ago, I traveled to the beautiful city of London for business! It was not my first time but every time I visited London in the past, a cloudy or rainy weather was expecting me.
This actually was my first visit to London when I had the change to enjoy a sunny weather with a relatively hot temperature! My surprise was really great! The sun painted the city differently and it was like seeing the city of London for the very first time! So I decided to do something different this time! I decided to walk a long way and see as many London districts as possible!
One of the things I love in London, is the wonderful buildings! Undoubtedly, the London’s architecture has its own unique identity, very typical for those who visit the city!
So, taking a walk in London, is an excellent opportunity to take some unique pictures! There are beautiful neighborhoods and buildings around, and anyone can take a lot of pictures, even with his mobile phone device! Of course I did the same!
I stayed in London for only three days, holding many business appointments! Nevertheless, I found some time and walked as much as I could in the streets and in the city’s parks!
I enjoyed the sunny city and relaxed myself enough! Although I did not have time to see some of the city’s famous sights (which I have visited many times in my previous visits), I was walking around and that walk gave me the opportunity to get to know London better!
I was familiar with the metro, so I moved from neighborhood to neighborhood, I saw several corners of the city and I felt like living in London for years! Of course, like on every trip, I visited some local restaurants and bars to enjoy some food, coffees and drinks.
In my visit to London, I visited the following places:
I enjoyed my beer and good music at the Foundation Bar, (5 Langley Street). Foundation Bar is located in the heart of the city! The place has a typical English atmosphere that I loved . For me it was definitely something different!
I tasted good food at Grange Holborn Hotel (50-60 Southampton Row, London). At the entrance of the hotel I was impressed by the Egyptian statue which was perhaps the last thing I expected to see in a London’s hotel.
For good pizza, I visited the Draft House Paddington (Unit 1, West End Quay, S Wharf Rd, London) and enjoyed the bright, cheerful interior. They offer very good service and delicious pizza!
Finally, I would also like to mention the Carrots Cars Company, with which I made all my transfers in the city and from – to the airport. Their cars were spotless, and their drivers were very polite. They were always on time, and they were driving very carefully!
My weekend in London passed very fast. Although I did not have the opportunity to visit the important sights of the city, due to my limited time, I was getting familiar with the city by walking in many of its neighborhoods! I felt a part of this big city! It was a journey that, although no one would call it special, it gave me beautiful pictures in the heart and sweet memories in my mind!
