A few months ago while on a business trip in Sofia, I found some free time to walk around the city and take a few photos! Sofia is the capital of Bulgaria and its largest city. It has a population of about 1,500. 000 inhabitants while traces of human life were presented from 7000 BC in the region.
Strolling around the city many impressive buildings of different architectural styles will definitely attract the visitors’ interest. The city center is always vibrant and in recent years many restaurants, cafes, and shopping centers have opened, providing a new, more modern face to the city.
I would recommend you walk downtown and discover the small hidden corners of the city. I walked and took many photos learning many things about the city's history.
For my stay I chose the Best Western City hotel Sofia, which was a very pleasant surprise.
Nice business oriented hotel, with spacious and clean rooms and very helpful staff. During the two nights of my stay I chose to dine in the Italian restaurant "La Vita hotel e Bella", where I enjoyed tasty flavors and warm atmosphere!
I did not have adequate free time to get to know Sofia as well as I would like. So I plan a new visit there soon. One thing is for sure. When I get there I will choose to stay at the Best Western City Hotel again!
