After our lovely dinner at one Michelin starred Restaurant CINCO by Chef Paco Perez, while my friends were enjoying coffee some courtesies by the chef, I stepped away to do a short site inspection of the hotel and other common areas. Das Stue, is located at the former Dutch Embassy, next to the Tiergarten Park, in Berlin‘s prestigious Embassy Quarter and literally facing the Berlin Zoo. I can see why for first timers to Berlin, the location might me a bit discouraging, specially during winter season. But if you are like me, and you enjoy tranquility and to be able to withdraw back to your hotel, after a day of exploring, then not to worry. And again both the hotel, restaurants and bar scene, are these days the place to be and be seen in Berlin. Or at least I felt that way. When we finished dinner at Cinco, we quickly moved to the bar, where a DJ was playing live and a very nice and chic crowd, mix of locals, foreigners and guest of the hotel, where hanging around indoors and at their heated outdoors patio. The rumor says , rooms face to the African Section of the Berlin Zoo, and you can see all the animals right from your room, you mini Safari in Berlin. Unfortunately we came to visit the hotel by night, and I was not able to witness (by any of my Cinco senses) this. Enjoy my photo tour of the rest of the hotel. More at CarlosMeliaBlog.com
