Pushkar Fair of India- Confluence Of Camels!

Pushkar Fair, Rajasthan, 2015.

It is widely known fair for its Holiness as well as camel and livestock trading, it happens every year for 5 days in Pushkar town which is in Ajmer District of Rajasthan, India(15 km from Ajmer). Livestock trader comes from each corner of Rajasthan and from nearby states of India.

Camels are the main attraction of this fair, you can find large numbers livestock here including camels, horses, donkey, goats and photographers from around the globe. This fair is also famous for its people gathering, because villagers from different region of Rajasthan wear very charismatic turbans and dresses which attracts the Indian and foreign tourists and each of them is having their own style of living and dressing.

This year, it happened from 21st November to 25th November, 2015. In Hindu calendar, it happens in Kartik month from Akadashi to Poornima. And next year, it's going to happen from 8th November to 12th November, 2016.
