Bar Lehem, a bakery review

There is a bakery in northern Tel Aviv,which is not close to central Tel Aviv,but it is considered to be one of the best,if not the best bakery in Israel. A place with such merits surely is worth a visit,in spite of the distance.. Bar Lehem (Bread Bar) bakery was established 11 years ago by Dagan and Shira Shaham,and has been popular ever since. Their breads and bakery items are amazingly good,made with the best ingredients. The bakery is not very big but there are a few tables next to the entrance where customers can have coffee and goodies from the counter. The gorgeous breads of Bar Lehem are made with the bakery's sourdough starter that has been used ever since the bakery was opened .

I had a chance to look into the bakery area,which operates 24 hours per day. They were just preparing cinnamon sticks while I took some pictures.

Shira ,the other half of the owner-couple,is the soul of Bar Lehem. She seems to know all the people who enter Bar Lehem,and greets them with a warm friendly smile and an occasional hug. Her Instagram account is hugely popular and also attracts people to the bakery. No wonder people return there over and over. This is a place that will leave a good memory also for an occasional visitor.
