Cannabis Cup 2014 Info

Every pothead has a smokey, purple haze filled dream of taking a trip to Amsterdam for the High Times Cannabis Cup and we're certainly no different. This years 27th annual Cannabis Cup on November 24-27th in Amsterdam is bound to be another smoke show we'd would love to experience one day. The annual event permits marijuana connoisseurs and judges from around the globe to sample and vote for their favourite strains of smoke. Anyone can be a judge and all you need to do is purchase a judge pass online or at the event doors, the cost this year is about 269.00 euros. The generous extensive pass includes your full admission to all Cannabis Cup ceremonies, concerts, seminars, event T-shirt and ultimately the stellar right to cast your vote. Judges with this pass have the ability to vote on best grass, best hash, best new product and best nederhash. A VIP team of judges award which seed company has engineered the best bud.

You can also purchase a single less expensive ticket at the door for 50 euros although the single ticket does not allow you to vote.

This euphoric celebration of international cannabis products also includes live music, comedy acts and a large expo of cannabis products ranging from edibles, smoke accessories and apparel. This year the venue is at Roest Expo but is subject to change.

This has made our bucket list because…

Amsterdam would be an absolute gnarly place to visit.

We also have a savage lust for cannabis.

When we do get around to going, our plans for accommodation are to stay at The Flying Pig hostel in Downtown Amsterdam, with each Flying Pig hostel having a smoking room you can't really go wrong.

NOTICE:

-Marijuana use is decriminalized in many parts of The Netherlands and possession above 5 grams per person is NOT permitted or legal under Dutch law. So if you go DO NOT bring over 5 grams to the event.-

I like to say I'am from the future although some people may find that a little strange. So instead I'll go with the fact that I have a very serious and savage lust for travel and writing.
