Streets of Barcelona

Barcelona is a vibrant city, there is no doubt about that. I absolutely adore how it really feels like a big, suburban city, but still has that relaxed, flipflops-and-palmtrees-vibe. Definitively one of my favorite cities in Europe! Among a million things to discover – from amazing artwork to amazing nightlife – I really recommend that you put on some great, comfortable shoes and start walking.

The streets of Barcelona, more presicely the streets of El Barrio Gótico, are so fascinating. My friends and I decided to spend the whole day exploring this part of the city, and we do not regret it one second…

Walking there, away from all the tourism, we got a different impression of the city – and actually liked it better. I find all the graffiti and street art to be both charming and beautiful, and somehow the ice cream we bought in there tasted so much better 🙂

Those narrow streets portrayed a life that is very different from back home, and it was all so exciting!

And if you are not a fan of exploring or walking around without a plan, I can promise that there might still be something for you in Barcelona's old town! We definitively found many great vintage stores in there, and did not go back to the hotel empty handed…
