A month ago I visited for a business trip the beautiful city of Istanbul! Although my time was very limited, I found some spare time to make a boat tour on Bosphorus! Even though he weather was cloudy I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the view! The ride lasted about three hours and I had the opportunity to see many parts of Istanbul which I have visited many times but never before had the opportunity to see it this way!
Bosphorus is a natural border between Europe and Asia, connecting the Black Sea with the Marmara Sea.
The city view from the sea is definitely different with the Asian side capturing my attention. The mini cruise gives to the visitor the opportunity to see and admire some very beautiful coastal buildings, both from the European and the Asian side.
The beauty of Dolmabahçe Sarayı, an exceptionally beautiful building with fantastic sea view, amazed me at first sight! It is a palace being the former residence of the Sultans and the administrative center of the Ottoman Empire. Its construction began in 1843 and finished in 1856. The facade is 248 meters long and it is really a very impressive building.
My ride to Bosphorus, that cloudy Saturday, gave me the opportunity to enjoy the sea breeze, although the day was cold, to see images I had never seen before, to get to know Istanbul better and take pictures and short videos of its beautiful corners.
If you ask me, I want to make again this mini cruise on a summer day, under a bright sun, that will paint the beautiful buildings and the picturesque seaside neighborhoods of Istanbul!
My next goal therefore is to visit again Bosphorus in summer time and enjoy once again its unsurpassed beauty!
