Whether or not you are an art aficionado, I highly recommend losing yourself at Museum Row on Miracle Mile for a day. I chose the street side that houses the spectacular LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art), Hancock Park, and La Brea Tar Pits (Page Museum).
I encourage you to just wander, soaking up the sun, architecture, palm trees, sculptures, fountains, and more. Consider yourself lucky if you encounter a talented, charming musician.
Spend as little or as much as your budget allows. My travel budget is generally pretty meager; therefore, I spent no money other than lunch. It’s free if you choose to browse outdoors as I did. I definitely want to see the inside of LACMA on my next visit.
Speaking of lunch, there is an array of food trucks parked on Wilshire Blvd. across from LACMA, and just the sight of them was making me salivate. I chose the Let’s Thai Truck, and devoured their mouthwatering Garlic and Spicy Basil Tofu Street Tacos at only $1.99 each.
I will let the photos do the talking from here to show the aesthetically pleasing sights I discovered.
