I have always be fascinated by cemeteries, especially those of other cultures. This one is perched on a hillside above a village on the long stretch of gorgeous road between Jujuy and Tilcara, Argentina.
Born and raised in and among the United States my adult life has led me on an adventure to call many places home. After living in Shanghai, China I wandered South America. I returned to my roots in Vermont, planted a garden and bought goats. That didn't last long even though I loved it. I followed a passion that brought me back to Colombia and have been living and teaching social rebellion in the form of history ever since. In July I will set out on a mission to learn about how to cultivate nourishment in myself and in others. After 35 years of living, working, traveling and learning, it occurs to me that I don’t know enough about the most essential thing in life: Food.So quitting my job and leaving my home, I am setting out to learn more about GROWING food, COOKING food & EATING food: pretty much anything related to FOOD. I will learn many more things that I can’t even anticipate at this moment.
