Archaeological Museum of Ioannina

The Museum of Ioannina consists of a  central corridor leading to seven halls and three atriums . Its exhibits cover a long period from the Palaeolithic period to the 3rd century AD (μΧ?)

Of great importance are the  findings from the temple of ancient Dodoni, one of the most famous Greek divination of the Greek antiquity

The Museum hosts historically invaluable archaeological treasures from the region of Epirus, Greece. A visit is surely a first-rate opportunity to get closer to the ancient Greek civilization, but also to learn through the exhibits many interesting things about the ancient Greeks!
