“I’m Nour Abd Al Halimi Al Abadi, owner of the famous restaurant Hashem, built in 1956 in the city center of Amman.
Our restaurant welcomes people of all social and cultural statuses, from factory workers to business men. We even had the pleasure of having the King for breakfast, and many foreign ambassadors love our cuisine. We treat every customer with special care.
All of our food is prepared in front of the customers. Our specialty is the black beans and chickpeas puree, served on flatbread with a drizzle of olive oil, lemon juice, parsley, and green peppers. Another one of our specialties is the falafel: deep-fried balls made from ground chickpeas, onions, and freshly ground spices.
