“In Oslo, openly LGBT people (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) are treated in the same way as everyone else, everywhere they go.
We did a project with the police and the Ministry of Justice about hate crime.
Every year there is a huge Gay Pride.
If it wasn’t for Karen-Christine Friele we would not be here today. She was the first ever openly lesbian in Norway, she has been fighting for our rights for over 50 years, even back when being gay or lesbian was illegal and people declared”.
