The sun setting as seen through the branches of a Joshua Tree. This was a very spontaneous shot as I was just getting back from a hike when the sun started setting and I had to run to my car in order to change the lens on my camera to my telephoto lens. I was running out time as the sun was making it’s descent from the sky very quickly when I finally changed the lens on my camera, ran to the edge of the parking lot, and started taking pictures.
I was born in Nairobi, Kenya but came to the United States when I was young. I currently attend the University of California, Berkeley, with a perspective major in Film. I practice photography as a hobby and it is something that I really enjoy. I have traveled to a fair amount of National Parks in the USA as well as a couple countries abroad such as Thailand.
